There are times when the challenges that face you simply are greater than the resources that you possess. This is when it can be normal to feel depleted, exhausted, lonely and fed up. Normal, under the circumstances, but not OK.

We all have the potential to regain our sense of control and equilibrium. We do have a core of inner resilience and a way to strengthen it so that we can look forward to thriving, not just surviving.

Neuroscience shows us that we can leverage the power of positive emotions to create sustained positive change.

Mindful Healers is pleased to offer this 4 week program with a deep experiential exploration of evidence based tools and practices related to positive emotions including gratitude, happiness, joy, humor and compassion. It is our intention and sincere desire that all participants will both enjoy and benefit from this program.

The program consists of 4 weekly sessions. Each session is 90 minutes long and includes instruction, active practice and interactive opportunities. Weekly practices will be suggested and necessary materials provided. Brief daily journaling will be integrated into this program, so we highly recommend participants to consider what media would provide them with the most enjoyment for that activity. Any notebook is fine, some people like to add images, electronic platforms are best for others.

This program is appropriate for individuals without any experience in mindfulness/meditation, as well as for experienced practitioners. Class size is small to allow for individual attention.
