The mind and heart already know how to settle peacefully, but we all need tools and practices for allowing natural peace to blossom.
The focus of this 4 week program is to explore and experience practical methods for stepping out of overwhelm into calm serenity. The emphasis is on short practices that can be done at anywhere, anytime, bringing moments of balance and clarity into the day, again and again. Guided mindfulness meditations will be provided for home practice as well, with the focus on awareness, compassion, relaxing into the present moment, and finding joy.
The program consists of 4 weekly sessions. Each session is 90 minutes long and will include instruction, active practice and interactive opportunities.
Mindfulness and compassion practices may be done sitting, lying down, walking, and during gentle movement. Weekly home practices will be suggested and necessary materials provided.
Brief daily journaling is an integral part of this program, so we highly recommend participants to consider what media would provide them with the most enjoyment for that activity. Any notebook is fine, some people like to add images, electronic platforms are best for others.
This program is appropriate for individuals without any experience in mindfulness/meditation, as well as for experienced practitioners who would like to enliven or deepen their practice. Each class is limited to 12 participants. Access to instructor in between classes is a pleasure to provide.

This is an experiential and interactive live online program. Technical requirements include a computer or laptop with a camera and microphone for optimal functionality. If you are not familiar with Zoom, contact the instructor who will be happy to do a test session ahead of the class to get the wrinkles ironed out.
Comfortable clothing is recommended. If you choose to lie down for some practices, a yoga mat works well. Mindful movement practices are gentle, but you should verify what is best for you. Adaptations can be made for individuals as needed if the instructor is informed ahead of the beginning of the program. If you have any concerns or questions, a call or Zoom with the instructor can be set up, with pleasure.
